Contained by Love

Resting in the Loving Arms of the Divine,
my soul is restored
in the red glow of Stillness.
As wordless joy bubbles up and spills over,
I move with purpose into the world
knowing that all is surely well.

Spirit

Spirit

Staring at the blank canvas before me,
I am sure there are no pictures in me to paint.
But something moves inside
and prompts first one sweep, then another,
moving through every available color,
covering nearly every available space.
Lost in time, captivated by the process,
I hear a soft song in the distance.
Pausing in my revelry,
I realize the singer is me
and the song is, “Just As I Am.”
There I laugh, knowing the meaning at last
that my only calling is to be my most Authentic Self.
