Herons at Forsythe

I challenged myself to create silk pieces that were representative of Savannah. Given the fluid nature of painting on silk, I thought fountains would be a good subject. So I trotted myself down to our biggest park, Forsythe Park, and took a bunch of pictures. I ended up with the notion of taking pieces of the fountain instead of the whole fountain. These herons are positioned about halfway up the fountain.

Original, hand-painted on 100% 8mm Habotai silk.
11" x 60"
Hand wash in cold water.

SOLD

For possible commissions, email me at info@monkeyminders.com
