Mistaken Identity

I am open to letting
my oldest beliefs about myself change.
It doesn’t have to be hard.
It can be like a new dawning,
like a popcorn kernel ready to pop.
Even in childbirth, the baby doesn’t crawl out
but is born by the forces of Life surrounding it.
